5 Facts about Boeing

If you don't memorize little useless facts (to some  people there not useless)about stuff like facts about airplane manufacturers, here are some of those facts.   1. The 737, has carried over 16.8 billion passengers since it was availible to airlines. That's incredible since there are only around 7.5 billion people on earth(of course some people have flew on it more than once).   2. Its been about 110 years since Wilbur and Orville Wright flew their glider 1 for the first time(2 other brothers in germany created the first gliders)... And in 1916 William E. Boeing created Boeing.   3. The Boeing 787 reqiures around 2.3 million pieces(including seats and gear). That's a lot since the 737 only has 400 thousand.   4. Everett Factory is the biggest building on earth by cubic feet and metres. Its about 472 million cubic feet(13.3 million cubic metres)   5. Finally, this one is amazing. The Boeing can carry about 350-400 people but on time it carried 1,087 in the Operation S

Why Commercial Pilots are not allowed to fly over the Poles

You've probably thought about why airplanes don't fly over the poles, well if you read this article I will tell you why.      First, because you have to be within 1 hour of an airport if something goes wrong, and I don't think there are to many places to land on the poles.   Second, because pilots say navigational equipment goes crazy. Imagine that you are a pilot taking a commercial flight from somewhere north to Alaska. Then, you accidently cross the borders into the north pole. Suddenly, your navigational equipment points you in the wrong direction and you don't know what altitude you are at. That's why commercial flights don't fly there(only charter flights, like to bring scientists to them).   It takes a shorter time to just fly around the poles instead of going through all the hassle(it depends on where you are going). So that's why they don't fly over the poles.    I hope you liked this article. We have other articles to check out so I hope y

Why Airbus didn't make an A360 or A370

You might have noticed before that Airbus has not made an A360 or A370 but why did they skip them? I will tell you.      Airbus starts naming at A300. Then they made the A310 and A320 between them are A318 and A319. After A320 there is A321. Then Airbus scraped A300 and A310 so they could make A330 and A340.   In 2000, Airbus made the A380. They made a huge gap between models. In 2015, Airbus made the A350 to replace the A340.   So what happened to the Airbus A360 and A370? Well if you continue to read I will tell you(you don't have to if you don't want to).   First, the A380 carries double the passengers then the A340 and Airbus wanted to signify this in it's name. When looking at the 2 planes you can see that it's a doble-decker A340.      Finally, Airbus might have not skipped those 2 planes. They probably are just designing them now. So if that is true, this article is useless.   Thanks for reading this article. I hope you enjoyed it. Remember, we post regularl

A tour of the Emirates Airbus 380

Today, we will take a tour of the Emirates Airbus 380. It's the biggest passenger plane ever built with 2 decks and 852 seats. It's the biggest plane by passenger capacity. So let's dive right into the tour.        First, we will board the plane on the bottom left corner of the plane. There is a staircase at the front of the plane which will lead to the First Class Cabin. Then, we will turn right into the Economy cabin and walk straight. Airbus packed as many seats as they could in this plane so that's how they got to 852 seats. There are qiute a few Economy cabins in this plane. After a few more rows we will come to a bathroom. After that, we will come to another Economy cabin.    At the back of the plane there is a spiral staircase which takes minimal space. After we go up the spiral staircase, we will get to the Buisness Class cabin. Buisness Class is for someone that doesn't like Economy Class but can't afford First Class. It gives a lot of space and th
